The mission of Commander, Destroyer Squadron TWO (COMDESRON TWO) is to prepare warships to win decisively in combat as well as exercise tactical control of assigned units including cruisers, destroyers and aircraft during deployed operations.  When not deployed, COMDESRON TWO duties include the stewardship and oversight of training, material readiness, maintenance and personnel of assigned ships.
