Command Senior Chief
Beach Master Unit (BMU) 2

A native of New York, Senior Chief Antonnette Spruill enlisted in the Navy in November 1997. Upon completion of Basic Training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, she reported to her first duty station onboard USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) in February 1998. She then selected the rate of personnel specialist and was advanced to 3rd class petty officer.  During her tour, her ship completed two deployments in the Mediterranean Sea and earned her surface warfare specialist designation.

Upon her transfer from the USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) as a 2nd class petty officer, she reported to Personnel Support Detachment on Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia, from December 2001 to September 2005. During her tour, she was advanced to 1st class petty officer.

She transferred to Commander, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 attached to USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) from September 2005 to November 2008, where she completed her aviation warfare specialist designation. During this tour, she deployed to the both U.S. 5th (C5F) and 6th Fleet (C6F) area of responsibilities (AORs). She was selected as CVW-3's Sailor of the Year for 2007. 

She was assigned as Navy instructor at Center for Personal and Professional Development Detachment East from 2008 to 2011. She taught the Navy Instructor Trainer Course, Navy Facilitator Course, Drug and Alcohol Prevention Advisor Course, as well as Alcohol and Drug Abuse for Managers/Supervisors, Facilitators and Leaders. She was promoted to chief petty officer in 2011.
 
Following her Instructor tour, she served onboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65) as the disbursing officer and education services officer. During her tour, she again completed a deployment to the C5F and C6F AORs along with deactivation in preparation for decommission in Newport News, Virginia. She returned to Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) Oceana as the senior enlisted advisor from December 2014 to December 2015. 

She reported to Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command in December 2015 as N11, Reserve pay senior enlisted leader. Upon transfer, she reported to USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) as the administrative department leading chief petty officer from January 2019 to March 2020. 

Senior Chief Spruill reported to Beachmaster Unit (BMU) 2 and as the command senior enlisted leader in March 2020.


Senior Chief Spruill is a graduate of Senior Enlisted Academy Class 216. Her personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards) and numerous unit and expeditionary awards and ribbons.
