Commander Brett R. Seeley

CDR Seeley is a native of Michigan but was raised primarily in Florida. He attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and was commissioned in 2003. He also attended the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California, where he earned a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Financial Management. Additionally, he is a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).
His previous assignments at sea include electronics officer onboard USS KLAKRING (FFG 42); operations officer of Mobile Security Detachment TWO FOUR; Officer-in-Charge of Maritime Expeditionary Security Detachment 631; weapons officer and then combat systems officer of USS HUÉ CITY (CG 66).
Ashore, he served in numerous joint and staff billets to include: Task Force 3-69 Electronic Warfare Officer in Ramadi, Iraq; U.S. Fleet Forces Fleet Command Center (N31) as Battle Watch Officer and Chief of Naval Operations Staff, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Integration of Capabilities and Resources, Programming Division (N80) as the Amphibious Auxiliary and Special Mission Ships analyst.
In addition to various unit, campaign, and personal awards, Seeley has had the privilege to serve on 4 Battle Efficiency Award winning crews throughout his career.
