Commander Judson Mallory
Commander Judson Mallory, a native of Georgia, is a 2000 graduate of The Military College of South Carolina. He was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Program in May 2000.
CDR Mallory’s sea assignments include USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56) where he served as a Department Head for Combat Systems and Weapons Departments. As a Division Officer he served in USS CHAFEE (DDG 90) and USS TARAWA (LHA 1).
Ashore, CDR Mallory served as the Future Capabilities Liaison Officer for NATO Transformation Command to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, BE. He served as the Cruiser/Destroyer Placement Officer at COMNAVPERSCOM (PERS 41). He also served as a Naval ROTC instructor at The University of Virginia. While there he was selected as an Individual Augmentee and served in Afghanistan in 2007 as a member of the Joint Task Force PALADIN (Counter IED).
CDR Mallory was awarded a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Air Command and Staff College in 2013. His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards), and various campaign, service, and unit awards.
