Mission of Naval Surface Squadron EUROPE:

Commander, Naval Surface Group Europe serves as the Executive Agent for Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL) for Force Generation with a focus on Manning, Training, and Equipping Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe (FDNF-E) surface ships and ships deployed to the United States European Command (EUCOM) and United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) AORs, providing operational and component commanders with combat-ready surface forces capable of conducting prompt and sustained naval, joint, and combined operations in support of U.S. national interests.
