CMDCM(SW/AW) Frank Jackson
A native of Pennsylvania Command Master Chief Jackson enlisted in the United States Navy in February 1995. After completing Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Aviation Electronics Technician “A” School in Millington, Tennessee. His first duty station was AIMD Patuxent River, Maryland as a Payload Technician for the Navy’s first Unmanned Ariel Vehicle (UAV) program.
Master Chief Jackson’s tours of duty include: Fleet Composite Squadron SIX (VC-6) Detachment Patuxent River, St Inigoes, MD, AIMD Norfolk, VA., VC-6 Detachment Damneck, Virginia Beach, VA., Instructor “A” School at NATTC Pensacola, FL., HM-15 Norfolk, VA., and FRCMA Det Norfolk, Norfolk, VA.
While assigned to VC-6, he completed a six- month Western Pacific (WESTPAC) deployment onboard USS CLEVELAND (LPD-7) stationed in San Diego, CA. While deployed, he earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS) designation. Master Chief Jackson has detached with several commands with various joint operations over the span of his career.
In December 2016, Master Chief Jackson completed the Senior Enlisted Academy class 202 and was subsequently selected as Command Senior Chief in 2017. He was appointed the duties of Senior Enlisted Leader while attached to Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic Norfolk.
Master Chief Jackson completed a successful tour as Senior Enlisted Advisor of USS Little Rock Blue/LCS Crew 109 from March 2018 to March 2020. During this tour, he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) designation.
His academic accomplishments include Associates of Arts Degree in Electronics, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education and a graduate of Chief of the Boat/Command Master Chief Course, class 179, and Senior Enlisted Academy (Orange Team), class 202.
Military decorations include Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), and other various unit and campaign awards.
