Lieutenant Robert Grady
LT Robert Grady, originally from Florida, enlisted in the Navy in 2000 in the Advanced Electronics and Computers field. In 2012 LT Grady was commissioned as an ensign in the Limited Duty Officer (LDO) program. LT Grady is a graduate of University of Maryland University College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies.
LT Grady’s sea duty assignments include USS ARLEIGH BURKE (DDG 51) as a SPY-1D technician, USS HUÉ CITY (CG 66) as an AEGIS Weapon System and SPY-1B/V technician, USS THACH (FFG 43) as Electronics Material Officer and USS SIMPSON (FFG 56) as Electronics Material Officer and Combat Systems Officer.
LT Grady has served ashore at Center for Information Dominance Detachment Pensacola as a Navy Military Training Instructor and Naval Air Station Sigonella as Ground Electronics Maintenance and Port Operations Officer.
LT Grady’s awards and decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (six awards) and various campaign and service medals.
