A native of San Antonio, Texas, CDR DuParc graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He also earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice from the same institution.

CDR DuParc enlisted in the SEAL program and later became an Aviation Search and Rescue (SAR) Swimmer. He was selected for Officer Candidate School (OCS) where he earned his commission.

His first sea assignment was aboard USS GETTYSBURG (CG 64), where he served as Auxiliaries Officer (AUXO) and Combat Information Center Officer (CICO). During this tour, he participated in Operations NEW DAWN and ENDURING FREEDOM, and deployed to the Sixth and Fifth Fleet areas of responsibility as Air Defense Commander supporting USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN 77) Carrier Strike Group's maiden deployment. He served on USS ROSS (DDG 71) as Fire Control Officer (FCO), conducting the ship's homeport shift to Rota, Spain and participating in ROSS's inaugural Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe patrol throughout the Mediterranean and Black Sea. As a department head, he served as Weapons Officer (WEPS) aboard USS GRAVELY (DDG 107), deploying to the Sixth Fleet area of responsibility as flagship for Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG-1). He was selected for Early Command and was the Executive Officer and Commanding Officer on USS WARRIOR (MCM 10) out of Sasebo, Japan.
Ashore, CDR DuParc served at Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR) as an Operational Test Director (OTD) responsible for Ballistic Missile Defense testing, including Baselines 4, 5, 9B, and 9C, as well as SM-3 and SM-6 missile systems and Aegis Ashore facilities in Romania and Poland. His most recent assignment was at Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC IMD) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he served as Chief of Operations.

CDR DuParc's personal awards include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2nd award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award), and various service, campaign, and unit awards.
