Senior Enlisted Leader, Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System Romania

Senior Chief Pasive a native of Manila, Philippines, enlisted in the United States Navy in July 2003. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Storekeeper “A” School in Meridian, MS.
In December 2003, he reported to his first ship USS Shiloh (CG-67) in San Diego, California where he served as Financial SK. He earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification, completed one WESTPAC deployment, hull swap with USS Chancellorsville (CG-62), and was promoted to Petty Officer Second Class.
In October 2007 he reported to CENSECFOR Detachment in NAS North Island, Coronado, California where he served as the Supply Department OIC and also as a S.E.R.E instructor. Here he was promoted to First Class Petty Officer and earned his Master Training Specialist badge. In June 2010, he reported to SEAL Team Five in Coronado, CA to serve as the Combat Support Services LPO and completed a deployment to Basrah, Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn and a deployment to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as part of the Crisis Response Element. He earned his Expeditionary Warfare Specialist qualification and was promoted to Chief Petty Officer prior to detaching.
Senior Chief Pasive was also on the USS Benfold (DDG 65) as S-1 LCPO; COMNAVSURFPAC N4 as support staff; USS Warrior (MCM-10) as Supply Department LCPO; First Naval Construction Regiment as the Regiment Logistics Chief; and the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) as the AIMD IM-4 division LCPO, MATCON LCPO, Supply S-8 LCPO, and Supply S-13 LCPO prior to reporting to US AAMDS Romania in July 2025. He earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist on the USS Abraham Lincoln.
Senior Chief Pasive’s personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (3rd award), Navy Achievement Medal (7th award), and the Combat Action Ribbon.
