A 2006 graduate of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program from Texas A&M University, Galveston, Commander Eickelmann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Administration. She is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute with an Associate of Arts degree in German, as well as the Naval War College with a Master of Arts degree in Defense and Strategic Studies. She is originally from Hephzibah, Georgia.
CDR Eickelmann’s operational assignments include: USS MOBILE BAY (CG 53) as Repair Division Officer where she fleeted up to Navigation Officer, USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109) as Operations Officer, and Operations Planner on the Amphibious Squadron Eight (CPR-8) Staff. She has served ashore as an Instructor and Class Advisor during separate assignments at the German Naval Academy (Marineschule Murwik in Flensburg, Germany) and at Surface Warfare School’s Command in Newport, RI. She served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Train-to-Qualify Program under Commander, Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO in Mayport, FL. CDR Eickelmann most recently served as the Executive Officer and Plankowner of USS NANTUCKET (LCS 27).
Her military decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various service medals and unit awards.
