Command Senior Chief (SW/AW) Brown is a native of Lake Providence, Louisiana. She enlisted in the Navy through the Delayed Entry Program in July 2001 and completed Basic Training at Recruit Training Command (RTC) in Great Lakes, Illinois.
Her sea tours include USS WASP (LHD 1), USNS LEROY GRUMMAN (TAO 195), USS GEORGE HW BUSH (CVN 77), USS GERALD R. FORD (CVN 78) and USS BENFOLD (DDG 65) in Yokosuka Japan. She currently serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader onboard USS LEWIS B. PULLER, EXPEDITIONARY SEA BASE 3 GOLD CREW.
Her shore duty assignments include NAVY RECRUITING DISTRICT RICHMOND and NAVCONBRIG CHESAPEAKE.
Senior Chief Brown is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 262 and CMC/COB Capstone Course Class 010. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from University of Phoenix in Healthcare Administration.
Command Senior Chief Brown’s awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (8 awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Global War on Terrorism Service Medals and various unit and service awards.
