 Command Master Chief Philip J. Dukette, enlisted in the United States Navy in 2002 out of Virginia Beach, VA. He completed recruit basic training at Recruit Training command, Great lakes, Illinois and then reported to Hospital Corpsman (HM) “A” School at Naval Training Center Great Lakes, immediately followed by Field Medical Service School “C” School in Camp Lejeune, NC. 
 
His first assignment was 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, from Oct 2003- Jan 2006. He completed two combat tours as Senior Line HM; Oct 2003 –May 2004, Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan; Mar 2005 – Sep 2005, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operation Capable) Operation Iraqi Freedom. 
 
He attended Naval School of Health Sciences Portsmouth, VA for Advanced Medical Laboratory “C” School from Jan 2006 – Feb 2007 and subsequently stationed at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. He completed two deployments on the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) ISO Continuing Promise 2009 and Operation Unified Response Haiti 2010. He was also a member of the White House Medical Unit staff on the Medical Evaluation and Treatment Unit Team. 
 
In May 2011, he reported to Pre-Commissioning Unit ARLINGTON (LPD 24) which was commissioned in April of 2013 (Plankowner). In 2015, he transferred to Navy Medicine Training Support Center, San Antonio, TX, where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and served as Navy Senior Enlisted Leader for the Army/Navy (L31A/68K) Advanced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) “C” School Program. 
 
Dukette transferred to BHC Boone, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, VA in April 2018. He served as the clinic Senior Enlisted Leader, LCPO of Ancillary Services, and completed his third deployment on the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) ISO Operation Enduring Promise 2019. Upon return, he served as the Command Career Counselor and Education Service Officer for the entire Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Portsmouth, Virginia enterprise. 
 
Dukette advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2022, transferred to NMRTC New England in June, and served as Command Senior Enlisted Leader of four geographically separated clinics across 4 states. In February 2024, he was selected for Command Senior Chief via he Command Senior Enlisted Program and detailed to NAPS. In March of 2025 he was selected for Command Master Chief. 
 
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6), Combat Action Ribbon (2), and various unit, campaign, and service awards. He has an Associate of Applied Sciences, a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course, Senior Enlisted Academy (Brown), qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Fleet Marine Force. He also holds the 8CMC, 806R, 8MTS, and 8CFL Navy Enlisted Classification Codes.
