Senior Chief Petty Officer Thomas Peterson is a native of Hollywood, Florida. He completed Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois and follow on Hospital Corpsman “A” School in 2002. Additionally, Peterson is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 205 and CMC/COB School.
At sea, Peterson’s assignments include serving aboard USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), II Marine Expeditionary Forces, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion as a Field Corpsman, USS Ardent (MCM 12), USS Sentry (MCM 3) as the ship 3MC and Nav/Exec Leading Chief Petty Officer, I Marine Expeditionary Force, First Marine Division, 1st Marine Regiment as the Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL), and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (SEL), USS Boxer (LHD 4) as the 3MC, USS Coronado (LCS 4) as the CSEL, USS Savannah (LCS 28) Blue Crew as the CSEL.
