CMDCM Aaron Morrow was born in Long Beach, Ca. He graduated from Somerset High School as class of 2001 and enlisted in the Navy in April 2002. He went on to graduate from Trident University International with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences in March 2016.
 
After graduating from HM “A” school in Oct 2002, he went on to Pharmacy Technician “C” school in Portsmouth, VA. With follow on orders to Naval Health Clinic, Patuxent River, MD where he stayed until May 2007. From there he went on to work at the Base Brig onboard Camp Lejeune, NC where he stayed until he was selected for orders to the USS Boxer (LHD 4) in Oct 2008. While onboard Boxer, he completed two Westpac’s and earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Air Warfare Specialist qualifications. He then went on to Independent Duty Corpsman School in January 2012 and graduated in January 2013 with honors. After IDC school, he was assigned to 2ND Marine Division, Camp Lejeune and ultimately 1st Battalion, 9th Marine’s (1/9) where in September 2013, he deployed to Patrol Base Boldak in Helmand Province Afghanistan. Upon return he was sent to 10th Marine Regiment where he filled in as Battalion Surgeon for both 1/10 and 2/10 and earned his Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist pin.
 
He reported to LCS Crew 116 in August 2016 where he was immediately selected to Chief Petty Officer. He was then transferred over to LCS Crew 108 and placed on the USS Milwaukee (LCS 5) until December 2018. From the Milwaukee he transferred over to Commander Naval Surface Squadron 14 to be a medical inspector and was sent TAD to the USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) and officially checked in May 2019.While onboard USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), he completed a homeport shift from Mayport FL to Rota, Spain in the height of the COVID pandemic. While onboard he completed 3 sixth fleet patrols and was promoted to the rank of Senior Chief in July 2021. From there he transferred to Naval Construction Group ONE in May 2022 and took over as the ISIC Medical SEL and IDC Program Manager for 10 subordinate commands. In February 2023 he selected into the Command Senior Chief program. In October 2023 he reported to the USS Cooperstown as the Command SEL and promoted to the rank of Master Chief in March 2024. He then continued on to USS John Basilone (DDG 122) as the Command Master Chief in July 2024.
 
Master Chief Morrow’s awards include 3 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, 2 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and various campaign and unit awards.
