Command Senior Chief Aaron Belcher is a native of Lenoir, North Carolina, and reported to Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes, Illinois in June 2007. He began his career completing Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, and Field Medical Training Battalion-West. He was selected to Chief in 2016 and was selected for Command Senior Chief in 2024.
His sea tours include Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine (2008-2011) as a Senior Line Corpsman deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2008-2009) and Operation Enduring Freedom (2010). Forward deployed to 3d Medical Battalion (2017-2020) as the Operation’s Chief conducting a multitude of joint, combined, and multi-national operations and exercises. Assigned to 2d Marine Logistics Group (2023-2024) as the Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor to the Commanding General.
Ashore, Belcher served in the Maternal Infant Unit aboard Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and is a Plank Owner. He has conducted two tours as a Recruit Division Commander at RTC serving as a Ship’s Leading Chief Petty Officer, Command Medical Liaison, Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Indoctrination Leading Chief Petty Officer, and Fleet Quality Assurance Inspector.
Belcher is a graduate of the American Military University with a Bachelors Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, Associate Degree in General Studies, CMC/COB Course (25010), Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 252 Blue), United States Marine Corps Advanced School Seminar, and has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (w/ Combat V), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards), Navy Achievement Medal (2 awards), Combat Action Ribbon, and various other personal and unit awards.
