Command Master Chief Pesicka, is a native of North Hollywood, Ca and enlisted in the U.S. Navy days after the September 11
th terrorist attacks of 2001. In January 2002, he attended Boot Camp at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL and then reported to Master-At-Arms “A” school in San Antonio, TX.
His Shore Duty Assignments include Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, Nevada, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain Security Detachment, Naval Security Force (NSF) Detachment. Jebel Ali, U.A.E., NAS Sigonella Sicily Security Department, Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center (ECRC) Forward IRAQ, Commander Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW) Harbor Security Unit, Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Middle East Field Office, and Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Seal Beach Security Department.
His Sea Duty Assignments include an Independent Duty Chief Master-At-Arms (CMAA) tour onboard USS O’KANE (DDG 77), Security Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and Brig Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard USS BOXER (LHD 4), Command Master Chief onboard USNS MERCY (T-AH 19), and is currently serving as Command Master Chief onboard USS ROOSEVELT (DDG 80)
His military decorations include a Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal (Gold Star 2
nd Award), Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal (Silver Star 6
th Award), Army Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various other personal, unit, and operational decorations. He is authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare and Aviation Warfare qualifications, Small Craft Insignia, and Master Security Specialist Insignia.
He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 224 (Blue group) and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat class 23090. He received his Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
