Command Master Chief McHargue is a native of Stony Point, North Carolina. She joined the Navy on June 22, 2009 and attended boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes. She graduated from Aviation Structural Mechanic “A” School in Pensacola, Florida in August of 2009. She was selected for Command Master Chief in March of 2024. CMDCM McHargue assumed the duties as Command Master Chief of Beachmaster Unit TWO on May 31st, 2024.
 
Following Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM) “A” School, she reported to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Four Nine (HSL-49) in San Diego, CA. Her follow-on tours include Recruit Training Command where she served as a Recruit Division Commander and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Seven Eight (HSM-78) where she served as a Combat Element/Air Department Leading Chief Petty Officer. She was selected and laterally converted to Command Senior Chief in April 2023 and served onboard USS Fort Worth (LCS 3). She has completed detachments/deployments onboard USS Bunker Hill (CG-52), USS Cowpens (CG-63), USS Halsey (DDG-97), USS Momsen (DDG-92), USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), and USS Princeton (CG-59).
 
She is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 253, Gold Team) and Command Leadership School (Class 23-100). Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various other unit and campaign awards.
