CDR Reber is a native of Reading, Pennsylvania. She was commissioned through the United States Naval Academy class of 2007.
Afloat, CDR Reber has deployed to the Fifth and Sixth Fleet Areas of Responsibility in support of numerous joint and combined operations. Her sea tours include First Lieutenant and Training Officer aboard USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL (DDG 81), Assistant Operations Officer aboard USS PONCE (LPD 15), Operations Officer aboard USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109), and Operations Officer aboard USS ARLINGTON (LPD 24).
Her assignments ashore include Company Officer at the United States Naval Academy and Naval Surface Force Atlantic as N73, Amphibious Training and Readiness Officer. Following her tour at CNSL, she completed the Amphibious Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) class to earn her patch as an AMW WTI. She served as SWATT Execution Lead at Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, Fleet Training – Atlantic.
CDR Reber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the US Naval Academy. She holds a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and a Master of Professional Studies in Leadership Education and Development from the University of Maryland.
CDR Reber’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and various other personal and unit awards.
