 CMDCM (SW/AW) Sinner is a native of Riverton, Wyoming. He enlisted in October of 2001 and graduated from Recruit training in January of 2002.

At sea, Master Chief Sinner served on USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), USS Juneau (LPD-10), USS Denver (LPD-9), USS Essex (LHD-2), and USS Mason (DDG-87). While onboard USS Essex, he served as the Steam Generating Plant Inspector (SGPI) and “Top Snipe”. While onboard USS Mason, he served as the Command Master Chief. He earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist insignia and his Aviation Warfare insignia onboard USS Kitty Hawk. He also qualified as an Engineering Officer of the Watch onboard USS Juneau, USS Denver, and USS Essex.

Ashore, Master Chief Sinner served at both Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) and Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) as the Steam Generating Plant Inspector. He also served at NAVSEA Headquarters as the United States Navy’s “Top Snipe.”

CMDCM Sinner is a graduate from the Senior Enlisted Academy and CMC/COB course. He was promoted to Master Chief in 2015 while serving as “Top Snipe” onboard USS Essex Currently, CMDCM Sinner is assigned as the Command Master Chief for Afloat Training Group Mayport.

CMDCM Sinner’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal (five awards) and various personal, unit, and campaign awards.
