Commander Rob Keller graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2006. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Maryland and the Naval War College.
At sea, Commander Keller served on USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45), USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CG 57), USS STOCKDALE (DDG 106), COMPHIBRON THREE (CPR-3), and commanded USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109).
Ashore, he has served at the United States Naval Academy, Navy Personnel Command Surface Warfare Assignments, Bureau of Naval Personnel, and the headquarters of NORAD and USNORTHCOM.
Commander Keller has various joint, service, campaign, unit, and personal awards. He is a recipient of the Navy and Marine Association Leadership Award, Carrier Strike Group ONE Junior Officer Tactician of the Year, and he has been published multiple times with the US Naval Institute.
Commander Keller assumed command of Afloat Training Group Mayport in July of 2024.
