CMDCS Anthony Ferretti

Command Senior Chief Anthony Ferretti is a native of Southgate, Michigan. He graduated from high school in Trenton, Michigan. He enlisted in the Navy in September 2006 and attended basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois and Fire Controlman "A" School at NSSATC Great Lakes. His follow-on “C” school training was at Dam Neck, Virginia where he graduated top of his CIWS class. Upon graduation he was assigned to USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) out of Norfolk, Virginia in February 2008. During this period, he completed two deployments to 5
th and 6
th fleets, earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification and was promoted to FC1.
In February 2013, he transferred to RTC Great Lakes. While stationed there he served as a Water Survival Instructor and LPO to his division. He trained over 100,000 recruits in the 2
nd and 3
rd class swim qualification during his three-year tour.
After attending Rolling Airframe Missile “C” school, he checked in to PCU Little Rock Crew 115 where he was pinned to Chief Petty Officer in September 2016. He served as DLCPO and qualified as Tactical Actions Officer.
Following his selection to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2020, he transferred to Afloat Training Group Mayport where he served as Surface Warfare and ATFP team leads, Combat Systems DLCPO, and Training Liaison Officer. He graduated Purdue Global University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice during his tour at ATG.
In 2024 he was selected as a Command Senior Chief.
CMDCS Ferretti’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marie Corp Achievement Medal (three awards), and various personal, unit, and campaign awards. He is authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist breast insignia, and is a designated Master Training Specialist and Afloat Training Specialist.
