CMDCS Anthony Traylor
Command Senior Chief, USS DEXTROUS (MCM 13)

CMDCS Anthony Traylor was born in Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from L. B. Williamson High School in 2000. He enlisted in the US Navy in November 1999 under the Delay Entry Program as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He completed basic training at RTC Great Lakes, IL in August 2000.
His first assignment was to SEAOPDET out of Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL.
Subsequent shore assignments were at AIMD North Island in San Diego, CA. and AIMD Atsugi, Japan.
Sea assignments have included AIMD Jacksonville, FL., USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67), two tours onboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan and USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan.
Senior Chief Traylor completed a highly successful tour USS RONALD REAGAN as the AIRspeed LCPO, IM-3 Divisional LCPO and D3MA/IM-5 Divisional LCPO. Upon reporting to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Detachment Atsugi, Japan, he served as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL), instructor and the Base Navy Marine Corp Relief Society Coordinator until June 2023. His current assignment is onboard USS DEXTROUS (MCM 13) as the Command Senior Chief.
CMDCS Traylor is married to Hiroko Traylor and has four children and eight grandchildren Aika, Manami, Anthony III and Emily (Emika). He is a graduate from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Management.
During his distinguished naval career, he earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Enlisted Surface Warfare, Enlisted Information Warfare, Master Training Specialist and graduated from the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 240 Red) and Command Master Chief Course (Class 22050) in February 2022. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Good Conduct Medal (five awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and various other unit and campaign awards.
