Commander Cameron Ingram is the son of a career Naval Surface Warfare Officer and a 2004 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY.
At Sea, he has served as a division officer in USS MITSCHER (DDG 57) and USS HOPPER (DDG 70), and department head tours as the Operation’s Officer in USS BULKELEY (DDG 84) and USS MONTEREY (CG 61). Additionally, he was the Commanding Officer of USS ZEPHYR (PC 8) out of Mayport, FL. Most recently, he served as the Executive Officer in USS THOMAS HUDNER (DDG 116) where they conducted a 6
th and 5
th Fleet deployment as part of the GERALD R. FORD CARRIER STRIKE GROUP (CSG 12). He has deployed globally and has operational experience in all Fleet areas of responsibility.
Ashore, he has worked in the Maritime Operations Center at U.S. Pacific Fleet Command and as the Deputy Executive Assistant to the Director of Surface Warfare, Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV N96).
Educationally, he has earned Master’s degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School (Master in Business Administration), and the Eisenhower School at National Defense University (National Resource Strategy-Missile Defense). He has completed JPME Phase I & II.
His decorations include various personal, unit-level, and campaign awards including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Battle Efficiency Award (with wreath). He is the recipient of the Admiral Arleigh Burke Operational Excellence award and the Vice Admiral John D. Bulkeley Leadership award.
He is married to Autumn, of Charlottesville VA, and they have two precious daughters Molly and Sunny.
