    Command Master Chief Jordan Rosado was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Master Chief Rosado reported to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, in May 1998. After graduating basic training, he attended Machinists Mate “A” school. In May of 2002, he attended Basic Enlisted Submarine School followed by Auxiliary Package “C” School. He was selected as a Chief of the Boat (COB) in 2014 and for Command Master Chief (CMC) in 2016. His sea duty assignments include, USS Saipan (LHA 2), USS Seawolf (SSN 21), USS Alaska (SSBN 732), and as Chief of the Boat of USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740), and USS Georgia (SSGN 729).

He completed four shipboard Mediterranean deployments, one North Atlantic deployment, 10 Strategic Deterrent Patrols, and three deployments to the AFRICOM AOR. His additional shore duty assignments include U.S. Fleet Forces Command as the Executive Assistant to the FLTCM and as a Special Assistant to the MCPON, Auxiliary Division LCPO at Performance Monitoring Team (Norfolk), Commander, Submarine Group TEN Alcohol and Drug Control Officer, Commander, Submarine Squadron TWENTY Command Master Chief, Commander, Submarine Group EIGHT Command Master Chief, and Commander, U.S. SIXTH Fleet Command Master Chief. He is a distinguished honor graduate for exceptional military excellence of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 134), and the CMC/COB Leadership Course. Additionally, he is a graduate of the CSEL Executive Leadership Symposium, the Naval Postgraduate School Naval Senior Leader Seminar, and the Baltic Defence College CSEL Course.

He holds Associate’s Degrees in Applied Marine Engineering and Human Resources Management. He has served on teams that have been recognized with numerous awards to include the Battle Efficiency “E” and the Deckplate Leadership Award. He assumed the duties as the USS Mount Whitney LCC 20 Command Master Chief on June, 2022. Master Chief Rosado’s personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Battle Efficiency (six awards), Good Conduct Medal (seven awards), and various unit and service award.
