Senior Chief Michelle Limbrick is a native of Houston Texas and a 1999 graduate of Tomball High School in Tomball, TX. She entered the Navy through the Delayed Entry Program and arrived for basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes in February 2000.

Following Recruit Training, Naval Technical Core, Fire Controlman (FC) “A” School, and MK-86 “C” school, she reported to USS SPRUANCE, DD 963, in Mayport, FL. During this tour she was qualified in Naval Gunfire Support and deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.  She then cross-rated to Master-at-Arms (MA) via the Perform-to-Serve Program and attended MA “A” School in 2003. Her follow-on tours as an MA included: Naples Support Activity Security Department, Naples, Italy, Naval Station Pensacola Security Department in Pensacola, FL where she qualified as a Patrolman, Field Training Officer, Field Commander, and Watch Commander. She completed an Individual Augmentee deployment as a member of Task Force 134 Legal Research Cell in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM at Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq in 2008.  She then transferred to Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic Marine Corps Security Force Battalion where she served as a Limited Area Supervisor and Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor in Kings Bay, GA. Her follow-on tours included SUBASE Kings Bay Security Department, Kings Bay, GA, Mayport Security Department, Mayport, FL, and Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Security Department, Yokosuka, Japan.  While assigned to CFAY, she served as an Operations Chief, Training LCPO and Installation Training Officer. While stationed at Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific in Pearl Harbor, HI as an Antiterrorism Trainer, she earned qualifications as an Afloat Training Specialist, Antiterrorism Training Supervisor, Master Training Specialist, and was selected into the Command Senior Enlisted Leader Program.  She is currently stationed onboard USS INDIANAPOLIS (LCS 17) BLUE as the Command Senior Chief.

She completed Command Master Chief School, and is an Honor Graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Coastline Community College, and Perdue University Global.  Her personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards) and various other unit awards.
