Master Chief Diaz Joined the Navy in 2003 from Pompano Beach Florida. Her assignments include; USS ROSS (DDG-71) Fleet Readiness Center Norfolk, USS MAHAN (DDG-72, Afloat Training Group Norfolk, USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) Naval Special Warfare LOGSU-2, and Navy Personnel Command.
After selection for the Command Senior Enlisted Leader Program, she assumed duties as Command Master Chief (CMC) of USS LABOON (DDG-58) in August 2022.
Master Chief Diaz holds an Associate Degree from Keiser University and is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy. She earned her Master Training Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare, Aviation Warfare and Information Warfare Specialist qualifications.
Her personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medals, Volunteer Service Medal, Good Conduct Medals and multiple unit citations.
