CMDCM Jeremiah Hoyt

Master Chief Hoyt is a native of Montana and enlisted in the Navy in July of 2000, shortly after graduating high school.
After completing initial training, he reported to his first command, USS FIFE (DD 991), as an OS. Master Chief’s follow-on sea tours include: USS JOHN S. MCCAIN (DDG 56), USS RODNEY M. DAVIS (FFG 60), Commander U.S. SEVENTH FLEET embarked on USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC 19), USS ANTIETAM (CG 54), and USS ROOSEVELT (DDG 80).
Master Chief Hoyt’s shore assignments include: ATG PACNORWEST, where, in 2009, he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer while deployed to Basrah, Iraq, and a Personnel Exchange Program billet to COMDINAV DUE in Taranto, Italy.
While serving as the OPS DLCPO on the USS ROOSEVELT out of Rota, Spain, he was promoted to OSCM and subsequently picked up for CMDCM the following year.
Master Chief has completed numerous deployments in THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH, SIXTH, and SEVENTH fleet AORs. His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and numerous unit and campaign citations. In addition, he is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 231, “Orange” group).
