 A 2006 graduate of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program from Virginia Tech, Commander Lescenski earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.   He is originally from West Amboy, New York.
 
A career surface warfare officer, Commander Lescenski’s shipboard assignments include: USS FARRAGUT (DDG 99) as Electrical Officer, PC Crew Juliet as Weapons Officer, USS DECATUR  (DDG 73) as Engineer Officer, and USS PORTLAND (LPD 27) as Engineer Officer. Ashore, he served as Assistant Manpower/Mobilizations Officer at Reserve Component Command Midwest and earned a Masters Degree in Public Policy at Liberty University.  Most recently, he completed his Integrated Air and Missile Defense Warfare Tactics Instructor production tour as a Live Fire with a Purpose Execution Lead and Fleet Reachback Support Officer for Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center Detachment Dahlgren, Virginia.
 
His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
