 Master Chief Rape, is a native of Lake Placid, FL.  He graduated from Lake Placid High School in 1989.  He entered the U.S. Navy in 1995 attending Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida
 
His duty assignments include: Operations Specialist “A” School, Virginia beach, Virginia; Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE - Port Hueneme, California; USNS Pecos - San Diego, California; Assault Craft Unit FIVE - San Diego, California; Assault Craft Unit FIVE DET West Pac Alpha - Sasebo, Japan; Commander Joint TWO Protective Security Detail - Baghdad, Iraq; Training Support Center Hampton Roads - Virginia Beach, Virginia; Assault Craft Unit FOUR - Little Creek, Virginia; AFSB (I) Ponce – Bahrain; Navy Personal Command - Millington, Tennessee; USS Gettysburg - Norfolk, Virginia; Mine Division Two Two – Mayport, Florida.

Master Chief Rape is qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare and Seabee Combat Warfare. 

Master Chief Rape was promoted to Chief in September 2006 and completed the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 169) and CMC/COB (Class 136) in Newport, Rhode Island.  

Master Chief Rape’s personal awards include Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal Navy (2) and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation and various campaign and unit awards.
