Senior Chief Petty Officer Jaramillo is a native of Connecticut. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program in May 1999. He reported to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois to complete recruit training that August. Following completion of training, he reported to EM “A” school in NSTC Great Lakes, IL.

His first sea duty assignment was USS MONTEREY CG-61 from May 2000-March 2004. During his time onboard MONTEREY, he advanced to Third Class and Second Class Petty Officer. From 2004-2007, he served as a canvasser recruiter at Navy Recruiting District Buffalo and New England. Upon completion of this recruiting tour, he transferred to USS BENFOLD DDG-65 in San Diego, CA as the Electrical “E” Division Work Center Supervisor and Leading Petty Officer from July 2007 to July 2012. While on board, he completed multiple Western Pacific deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He advanced to First Class Petty Officer in 2009. Following this tour, he was selected to Chief Petty Officer and was assigned to Southeast Regional Calibration Center (SERCC) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. from October 2012 to July 2015. He served as the Physical/Dimensional Calibration Department LCPO, Administration/Supply Department LCPO and Senior Enlisted Leader. After leaving SERCC in 2015, he reported to EODMU EIGHT in Rota, Spain where he served as the 3M System Coordinator. During this tour, he was selected for advancement to Senior Chief Petty Officer and subsequently for the Command Senior Chief Program. He reported for duty to COMLCSRON TWO in Mayport, FL to complete LCS training pipeline. In April 2020, he reported to USS MILWAUKEE LCS-5 where he is currently serving as the Command Senior Chief.

Senior Chief Jaramillo is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 203 (Blue) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course.

His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal ( 7 awards), Navy Good Conduct Award (6 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Navy Recruiting Service ribbon and numerous unit service and campaign awards.
