Cmdr. Adam P. Walters

A 2005 graduate of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program from Purdue University, Commander Walters earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.

A career surface warfare officer, Commander Walters’ shipboard assignments include: USS HIGGINS (DDG 76) as Communications Officer, USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL (DDG 81) as Damage Control Assistant, and USS MILIUS (DDG 69) as Weapons and Combat Systems Officer. Ashore, he graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2011. After completing the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Warfare Tactics Instructor course, he was the Director of Officer Training at the Aegis Training Readiness Center. Most recently, he graduated from the United States Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.

His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
