Cmdr. Bryan T. Wolfe is a native of Shoreham, N.Y., and graduated from the United States Naval Academy (USNA) in 2003.  Additionally, he earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Naval Post Graduate School in 2008.
His initial sea assignment was aboard USS Curts (FFG 38) where his billets included Electrical Warfare Officer and CIC Officer.   On his second Division Officer Tour he was billeted as the Operations Officer to MHC Crew Bold where he conducted three hull swaps to include USS Raven (MHC 61), USS Black Hawk (MHC 58), USS Pelican (MHC 53), and USS Heron (MHC 52).  He decommissioned the USS Pelican (MHC 53) and USS Black Hawk (MHC 58). 
Upon finishing his Division Officer Tours, he attended the Naval Post Graduate School, where he then transferred to USNA as an Instructor of Seamanship and Navigation. 
Following the Naval Academy, he headed to Department Head training in Newport RI.  He then served as Operations Officer on USS Sterett (DDG 104), where they won the Battle “E”.  He was then assigned to DESRON 50 staff as the Future Operations Officer, where he planned five fleet level, six bi-lateral, and one Chinese counter piracy exercise resulting in the first helicopter cross deck between China and America. Following his department head tours, he was assigned to OPNAV N96 where he acted as the Fleet Training Requirements Officer.  Since then he has worked on the Joint Staff as an action officer in the Directorate for Strategy, Plans, and Policy in the Transregional Threats Coordination Cell.  
Cmdr. Wolfe’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (6 awards), the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, and the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement medal.
