Biographies

Amy Graham

Capt.

27 September 2020 Capt. Graham attended Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago on an NROTC scholarship. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and was commissioned in 1998.  

Upon commissioning, Capt. Graham was assigned to Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Yokosuka, Japan on USS JOHN S MCCAIN (DDG 56) as Communications Officer, followed by a tour on USS O'BRIEN (DD 975) as Auxiliary Officer.

Following her two Division Officer tours, she was accepted by NPS into the National Security Administration program, specializing in Middle Eastern Affairs. While attending NPS, she earned her Joint Professional Military Education Phase I Certification. Following Department Head School, Capt. Graham served in USS JARRETT (FFG 33) as Chief Engineer, and as Material Officer for COMDESRON SEVEN. Capt. Graham served as Executive and Commanding Officer in USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54) from October 2013 to January 2017.

Capt. Graham's tours ashore include 1st Tour Department Head Detailer at Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN, Executive Assistant for J-5 Directorate at AFRICOM in Stuttgart, Germany, and as a Program and Budget Analyst at OPNAV N9SP Special Programs.
Capt. Graham assumed command of Surface Division TWO ONE  05 June 2020.
