Commander Tim Clark is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He graduate from Point Loma Nazarene University and the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of San Diego/San Diego State University in 2005. Commander Clark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He also earned a Masters of Education from Old Dominion University.
A career surface warfare officer, Commander Clark’s shipboard assignments include: USS STOUT (DDG 55) as Auxiliaries Officer and Navigator, USS GRAVELY (DDG 107) as Chief Engineer, and DESRON 22 as the Materials Officer (N4). Ashore, he served as a Training Liaison Officer at Afloat Training Group, Norfolk and he completed a four year tour at Engineering Assessments, Atlantic where he served as the DDG Class lead. Most recently, he completed a successful tour as the Executive Officer of USS COLE (DDG 67).
His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
