ARLINGTON, Va. - Country music performer Lee Greenwood performs at the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award at the Pentagon on August 26, 2016. More than fifteen years before, Greenwood performed in concert for an audience in downtown Norfolk, Va., one day after the attack on the Norfolk-based USS Cole, October 12, 2000.
