NORFOLK, Va. - Fire Controlman (AEGIS) 2nd Class Emilio McPherson (pictured.) A self-taught artist and native of El Paso, Texas, McPherson is the creator of the logo commemorating the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the USS Cole, Oct. 12, 2000, in the Port of Aden, Yemen.
