LCDR Amadeo J LeFebre

Lieutenant Commander LeFebre, originally from Southern Colorado, started his naval career as an enlisted Sailor in 2002. Serving as a West Coast Seabee, he completed multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 2006, he was selected for the Officer Commissioning Program.
At sea, LCDR LeFebre served as Gunnery/Ordinance Officer aboard USS CHANCELLORSVILLE (CG 62), stationed in San Diego, CA. He completed a deployment to FIFTH and SEVENTH Fleet areas of operation. In his subsequent Division Officer role, he served as Assistant Company Commander at COASTAL RIVERINE SQUADRON THREE in Imperial Beach, CA. Following Department Head School, he assumed the roles of Operations Officer on USS HOPPER (DDG 70) and Plans and Tactics Officer on USS PORTLAND (LPD 27), where he completed USS PORTLANT’s maiden deployment to FIFTH and SEVENTH Fleet areas of operation.
Ashore, LCDR LeFebre took on the responsibilities of Training and Liaison Officer at AFLOAT TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC, where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he served as an instructor at Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, RI. His most recent assignment was as Officer in Charge at CENTER FOR SECURITY FORCES DETACHMENT PEARL HARBOR HI.
LCDR LeFebre has been recognized with personal awards, including the Navy Commendation Medal (4th award), Navy Achievement Medal (4th award), and various unit and campaign honors.
