CMDCM Quincy L. Bentley
Command Master Chief, LCSRON 2

Master Chief Bentley, a native of Hardeeville, South Carolina, enlisted in the United States Navy in February 1997. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Chicago, Illinois, he reported to Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Florida where he completed Aviation Electronics Technician apprenticeship training and then the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit, Whidbey Island, Washington where he completed career “C” school training.
Upon graduation, he reported for duty with Patrol Squadron 46 (VP 46) and designated as an Aviation Electronic Technician. His fleet assignments include USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75) Norfolk, Virginia, USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73), USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) NAS Yokosuka, Japan, USS SCOUT (MCM 8) San Diego, California, and STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON TWO TWO (VFA 22) Lemoore California. In addition, Master Chief Bentley completed shore assignments at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU), NAS Whidbey Island, and Fleet Readiness Center South East (FRCSE), NAS Jacksonville.
Master Chief Bentley is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 198, Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course, and has earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Surface Warfare, and Master Training Specialist designations.
His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
