Commander Dominick Albano
Executive Officer (Gold)
Commander Albano, a native of Pennsylvania, joined the Navy in 1984, promoted to Master Chief Operations Specialist in 2000, commissioned as a Limited Duty Offer in 2001, and converted to Unrestricted Line in 2008.
From June 1985 to October 2001 Commander Albano served in USS CAMDEN (AOE 2), Fleet Combat Training Center, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA, USS ANCHORAGE (LSD 36), USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71), and Afloat Training Group, Mayport, FL.
Following his LDO commission, he served in Fleet Surveillance Support Command, Northwest, Chesapeake, VA, USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68) and COMUSNAVEUR/COMSIXTHFLT, Naples, Italy.
Commander Albano then served consecutive Operations Officer tours in USS ROOSEVELT (DDG 80) and DESRON SIX ZERO/CTF 65, Naples, Italy. He then attended the Naval War College where he received his Master’s Degree in National Security Studies and is also a graduate of the Maritime Advance Warfighting School (MAWS). He served as the Division Chief, N35 Fleet Schedules, CNE-CNA-C6F, Naples Italy, and is currently serving as Executive Officer in USS LITTLE ROCK (LCS 9) Gold.
Commander Albano’s personal decorations include the Navy Meritorious Service Medal (Two), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Seven), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Three), the Navy Good Conduct Medal (Four), and various campaign decorations.
