Senior Chief Dallas Roberts, a native of Wisconsin, enlisted in the Navy in October 1993 and after boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois he attended Operations Specialist "A" School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy Class 212/Blue Group and has completed a Bachelor of Science in American/Latin American History from Troy University.


Operational assignments have included Pre-Commissioning Unit Port Royal in Pascagoula, MS and USS Port Royal (CG-73) in Pearl Harbor, HI from 1994-1997. He later served aboard Pre-Commissioning Unit Roosevelt Pascagoula, MS and then USS Roosevelt (DDG-80) in Mayport, FL from 2000-2004.  In 2007 he reported to USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) where he served as the Leading Chief Petty Officer for Operations-Intelligence Division. From 2010 to 2011 he deployed with USS Laboon (DDG-58) as an Air Intercept Control Supervisor.
 
Ashore and fleet support tours include Center for Surface Combat Systems, Dam Neck, VA, where he served as Lead Instructor for the Air Intercept Controller and Air Intercept Control Supervisor courses from 2004-2007. During this tour he was selected for advancement to Chief Petty Officer. From 2011 to 2015 he served as the Integrated Air Missile Defense Leading Chief Petty Officer for Commander Carrier Strike Group Four, where he trained and mentored deploying Carrier Strike Groups and Amphibious Ready Groups in air defense.  In 2015 he reported to Naval Consolidated Brig Chesapeake, VA and served as the Command Evaluator and Compliance Manager.  
 
In August 2018, he assumed his current role as Command Senior Enlisted Leader onboard USS Anzio (CG-68).  
 
Senior Chief Roberts's awards and decorations include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), and numerous individual, campaign, and unit awards.
